MADISON COUNTY SECOND DEPUTY - AUDITOR'S OFFICE PART-TIME


Part-time employment in the office of the Auditor's Office with Madison County. This is an IPERS benefits eligible position.

Position includes weekday hours Monday-Friday on a part-time basis.


Under general supervision of the County Auditor or First Deputy Auditor, perform or assist with duties including, but not Limited to, claims; voter registration and election processes; and passport acceptance management and other auditor office functions. Preference will be given to candidates with advanced Excel knowledge, attention to detail, customer service skills, strong communications skills, experience with Teams and technology.

TRUCK DRIVER POSITION for Madison County Secondary Road Department.

 

Requirements: Possess a Class “A” Commercial Driver’s License, and pre-employment drug testing. Must have knowledge of operating various equipment, including but not limited to end loader, dump trucks, snow plows and salt-sand spreaders. Operation of light and medium heavy equipment experience preferred.

The starting wage is $27.23 per hour with a $0.25 increase per hour after 90 days. Longevity pay for every completed year of service.

Paid leave time package is included with employment. Medical & life benefits included.

IPERS retirement package. Great working hours. Normal hours are five (5), 8-hour days, Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Summer hours are four (4), 10-hours days, Monday through Thursday 6:00 am to 4:30 pm.

EQUIPMENT OPERATOR – DRAINAGE CREW for Madison County Secondary Road Department.

 

Requirements:  Possess a Class “A” Commercial Driver’s License, and pre-employment drug testing.  Must have knowledge of construction practices and various equipment and tools needed for construction.  Medium to heavy equipment and physical construction experience required. 

 

The starting wage is $28.29 per hour with a $0.25 increase per hour after 90 days.  Longevity pay for every completed year of service.  Paid leave time package is included with employment.  Medical & life benefits included.  IPERS retirement package.  Great working hours.  Normal hours are five (5), 8-hour days, Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.  Summer hours are four (4), 10-hours days, Monday through Thursday 6:00 am to 4:30 pm.
