The Madison County Secondary Road Department is accepting applications for a Working Foreman.

 

Requirements:

Possess a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

Successfully complete pre-employment drug testing.

Have knowledge of construction practices and various types of equipment.

Heavy equipment operation and physical construction experience preferred.

 

Compensation & Benefits:

Starting wage: $32.47 per hour, with a $0.25 per hour increase after 90 days.

Paid leave package.

Medical and life insurance benefits.

IPERS retirement package.

Great working hours.

 

Work Schedule:

Regular Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (five 8-hour days).

Summer Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (four 10-hour days).

Full-Time Assistant County Attorney

 

Madison County is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Assistant County Attorney position. This position is eligible for IPERS and medical insurance benefits. Salary will be based on qualifications and experience. Under the direction of the Madison County Attorney, the Assistant County Attorney will assist in carrying out the duties of the office as set forth in Iowa Code Section 331.756, including but not limited to:

 

•        Prosecuting criminal cases

•        Handling juvenile delinquency cases

•        Representing the State in Children in Need of Assistance (CINA) cases

•        Assisting with civil matters

•        Performing other duties as assigned
